Tuscaloosa Farmers Market Once Again Voted Best in Alabama

The Tuscaloosa Farmers Market has once again been voted the Best Farmers Market in Alabama in the 2023 America's Farmers Market Celebration

TUSCALOOSA, AL — City of Tuscaloosa on Monday announced that The Tuscaloosa Farmers Market has once again been voted the Best Farmers Market in Alabama in the 2023 America’s Farmers Market Celebration Awards.

The city pointed out that this is the second consecutive year the City of Tuscaloosa’s weekly market won the statewide honor, which is awarded as part of the America’s Farmers Market Celebration — a national contest held by the American Farmland Trust and the Farmers Market Coalition.

As part of the contest, the city said each year between June and September, market shoppers and supporters can vote online for their favorite market.

Along with being voted the best in Alabama, the Tuscaloosa Farmers Market was also named 21st in the Southeast, and 70th in the United States.
