Tuscaloosa To Host United Way Benefit Friday In Government Plaza
The event will be held from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Friday, with part of the proceeds from food sales going to benefit United Way of West AL.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa has announced it will host "United on the Plaza" on Friday, Oct. 1 during lunch to benefit the United Way of West Alabama.

The city says the free, family-friendly event will be open to the public, taking place from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Government Plaza. The event will feature local food trucks, the LifeSouth Blood Mobile, entertainment and other offerings.

A portion of the money raised from food sales will go toward benefitting UWWA.
