Tuscaloosa Hosting Alabama's 'Big 10 Mayors' Summit Monday

Mayors from Alabama's 10 largest cities will gather today at the Tuscaloosa River Market to discuss a wide-range of issues.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa will play host Monday to a gathering of the mayors from the ten largest cities in Alabama, as part of the Alabama Big 10 Mayors summit.

Hosted in Montgomery in 2021, the event will be a chance for dialogue concerning topics that affect in community, in addition to legislative priorities.

The event will kick off at 11 a.m. at the Tuscaloosa River Market and will include the following elected officials:

  • Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin
  • Decatur Mayor Tab Bowling
  • Dothan Mayor Mark Saliba,
  • Hoover Mayor Frank Brocato
  • Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle
  • Madison Mayor Paul Finley
  • Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson
  • Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed
  • Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox
