Tuscaloosa Man Charged After Herman Avenue Stabbing
An argument over a missing cell phone allegedly resulted in a Tuscaloosa resident being stabbed on Wednesday on Herman Avenue

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Investigators with the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit say an argument over a missing cell phone resulted in a man being stabbed in the chest in west Tuscaloosa Wednesday.
Captain Marty Sellers told media on Thursday that officers with the Tuscaloosa Police Department initially responded to the 2500 block of Herman Avenue, where the 30-year-old male victim informed officers about the altercation that led to the stabbing.

The victim also identified Tuscaloosa resident Anthony Eubanks, 55, as the suspect. Sellers went on to say Eubanks turned himself over to investigators today.
He was charged with attempted murder and his bond was set at $60,000.

The victim was transported for medical care for his injuries and is in stable condition.
