TUSCALOOSA, AL — A pedestrian has died from his injuries after being struck by a vehicle Friday on Old Montgomery Highway in Tuscaloosa.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department said a 29-year-old Tuscaloosa man was walking south in the 5400 block of Old Montgomery Highway when he was hit by a southbound Ford F-350 around noon on Friday.

He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver remained at the scene.
