Tuscaloosa Man Killed, 3 Injured In Highway 11 Crash
ALEA says a Tuscaloosa man was killed and three others were injured in a Thursday afternoon crash roughly five miles from Tuscaloosa.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — A two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon on Highway 11 claimed the life of a Tuscaloosa man, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said Friday morning.

ALEA says at at approximately 1:45 p.m. Thursday, Alimayo Jordan, 41, was fatally injured when the 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser he was driving collided head-on with a 2018 Jeep Cherokee driven by Tuscaloosa resident.

ALEA Public Information Officer Senior Trooper Reginal King said Jordan was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep Cherokee and two passengers in the PT Cruiser were transported to an area hospital for treatment.

King then said the crash occurred on U.S. 11 Highway near the 70 mile marker, roughly five miles south of Tuscaloosa.
The crash remains under investigation.
