Tuscaloosa Oktoberfest & 5K Set For Oct. 28

Visit Tuscaloosa is set to host its Oktoberfest and 5K from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Druid City Social on Saturday, Oct. 28.

The Bavarian extravaganza will offer food and live music from Oompah-Calypse and Rollin' in the Hay, with treats including traditional bratwurst, pretzels and German beer.
Beer will also be provided by Black Warrior Brewing Co., Druid City Brewery Co., Cahaba Brewing Co. and Goat Island Brewery.

Authentic German food will be offered from Bread Thymes, Rolf's German Deli, Peterbrooke Chocolatier and others.
The event will also feature a Dachshund Dash and a Stein Hoisting Competition, along with offerings for kids.
Proceeds from the 5K will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Admission is free to children 12 and under, with general admission priced at $10 and VIP at $75.
