Tuscaloosa Police Investigating Fatal Interstate Crash

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department is investigating a fatal crash on Interstate 359 Tuesday night.

TPD says the call first came in at 8 p.m. and once on the scene it was found that multiple vehicles were involved and the driver of a motorcycle involved in the crash was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has not been identified as of the publication of this story

During the investigation, TPD redirected traffic, with the southbound lanes of I-359 between Investigator Dornell Cousette Street and the I-20/59 on-ramp closed for several hours.

The crash is being investigated by TPD’s Traffic Homicide Unit.
