Tuscaloosa Police Respond To Shooting On Hargrove Road Tuesday
Officers with the Tuscaloosa Police Department are on the scene of a shooting in the 1000 block of Hargrove Road that saw one person hurt.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Officers with the Tuscaloosa Police Department are on the scene of a Tuesday afternoon shooting in the 1000 block of Hargrove Road that resulted in at least one male victim being injured by gunfire.

TPD spokesperson Stephanie Taylor told local media on Tuesday that the call of multiple shots fired was received by dispatchers at approximately 1:15 p.m.

Captain Marty Sellers, with the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, said the multi-agency unit is also on the scene at 10th Avenue and Hargrove Road. He then said the victim's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, after it was reported one person was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in a private vehicle.
No arrests have been announced in connection to the shooting.

The shooting is the second in as many days for the City of Tuscaloosa, after a man was shot on Skyland Boulevard Monday afternoon.
It is unclear at this time if the shooting are related in any way.
