TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a woman suspected in a hit-and-run at Target last week.

TPD provided photos of the woman taken before a pedestrian was struck by a driver who was leaving the store just after noon on Thursday. Sept. 15.

TPD then said Target employees identified the woman depicted in security camera footage as the driver.

The victim also reportedly told officers she was walking next to her truck when the gray SUV backed out of a parking spot and struck her, which caused her to fall into the bed of the pickup.
