Tuscaloosa Police Working To Identify Piggly Wiggly Purse Thief

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa Police are actively looking for a man caught on video stealing a purse from a woman's car at the Piggly Wiggly on Bear Creek Road in May.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department says the victim reported that she went to her vehicle just before 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18 to discover all of the doors unlocked. She then found that her purse, wallet, identification, credit cards and change, had been stolen.

The suspect was then seen on video leaving the store in a Toyota Tundra.
