Tuscaloosa Public Library To Kick Off Summer With Free Northport Event In April

The library and the City of Northport are set to kick off the summer next month with a big event to promote the summer reading program.

NORTHPORT, AL — The Tuscaloosa Public Library will kick off this summer with a free community event in Northport on April 30 at City Hall.

Dive Deep Into Summer 2022 will start with the Saturday event, running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event will feature a dunking booth, readings, food and emergency apparatuses — like fire trucks and police vehicles — and a host of other offerings for the public.

Dive Deep Into Summer 2022 will also serve as the opener for the library's Summer Reading Program, with the following dates set for Summer Reading Programs through the end of July.
