Tuscaloosa Rotary Memorial Foundation Accepting Community Grant Applications
The Memorial Foundation of the Rotary Club of Tuscaloosa is accepting applications for community project grants of up to $50,000.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Memorial Foundation of the Rotary Club of Tuscaloosa announced on Wednesday that it is accepting applications for community project grants of up to $50,000.

The annual grants will be awarded in late 2025 and are available to local nonprofit and community organizations for brick-and-mortar projects.

Applications are open through Oct. 1.
The club says proposals must address one of Rotary International’s priority areas: peace building and conflict resolution; disease prevention and treatment; water, sanitation and hygiene; maternal and child health; basic education and literacy, including the arts; community economic development, including the arts; or protection and improvement of the environment.

The Tuscaloosa Rotary Memorial Foundation was first established in 1971 to support local projects through tax-deductible contributions and has provided more than $1 million to area organizations, including the Rotary International Student Center at the University of Alabama, the Tuscaloosa Public Library, Salvation Army, Bama Theatre, and local scouting programs.
