Tuscaloosa Tinsel Trail Set To Open On Monday, Nov. 20

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The holiday season is nearly upon us and the Tuscaloosa Tinsel Trail is set for its grand opening in Government Plaza on Monday, Nov 20.

The opening day celebration for the Christmas tree installment will begin at 5:30 p.m. and last until 7 p.m., with holiday music, refreshments, Santa, visit with sponsors and more.

“Tinsel Trail is a magical display that brings together the Tuscaloosa community and visitors from across the region,” Tuscaloosa's One Place Director of Communications Ashley Cornelius said. “Tinsel Trail features a stunning display of nearly 200 decorated trees each uniquely adorned by local businesses, organizations, and individuals.”

Admission to the Tuscaloosa Tinsel Trail is free for all ages.

The Tinsel Trail is an annual fundraiser for Tuscaloosa’s One Place — a nonprofit family resource center that provides services to strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect.
