1. DCH Health System reported 17 total coronavirus-positive cases on Tuesday, marking the highest daily total since the same number was reported on May. (More on Patch)
2. Tuscaloosa investigators say a woman shot a man in self-defense Tuesday morning at the Ramada Inn on Skyland Boulevard. The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit says due to the motive, charges are not likely to be pressed. (More on Patch)
