Schedule Announced For Tuscaloosa's Fourth Of July 'Celebration On The River'

The City of Tuscaloosa on Tuesday announced plans for its Fourth of July Celebration on the River.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa on Tuesday announced plans for its Fourth of July Celebration on the River.

The free annual event will be held at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on July 4 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. The City of Tuscaloosa also says the venue's clear bag policy will be in effect for the Fourth of July celebration.

Here's a look at the schedule of activities

6 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. City of Tuscaloosa Kid Zone (with games and activities for all ages)

6 p.m. – 7:50 p.m. DJ Tank Performance

7:55 p.m. – 8:55 p.m. Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra Performance

9 p.m. Brief remarks from Mayor Walt Maddox to begin the Fireworks Show.

Those attending the event are encouraged to park in the city's free parking deck, which is located on the corner of 7th Street and 23rd Avenue. A shuttle will be available to the Amphitheater and parking will also be available in the Amphitheater box office parking lot.
