Tuscaloosa's 'Lemonade Day' Set For Later This Month: Here's How To Sign Up
The nationwide effort provides local youth the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship by operating a lemonade stand.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Cadence Bank and the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama have announced that Lemonade Day 2023 will be held in Tuscaloosa on July 27 and July 29.

Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama said participants will have an opportunity to operate a stand for free, with the goals being to promote financial literacy, entrepreneurship, analytical skills and self-reliance.
Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama has been named the nonprofit partner for Lemonade Day, while Cadence Bank is the supporting financial sponsor.

Organizers said club members will set up lemonade stands outside the Jaycee Park Club site at 2201 Alberta Parkway in Tuscaloosa and the Hasson Center Club site at 1513 12th Street in Northport on Thursday, July 27 from 4 to 6 p.m..
This will follow two weeks of intensive mentorship with Cadence Bank representatives.
Local youth who are not club members can also participate in Lemonade Day at no costs.
Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama said parents and mentors can download the My Lemonade Day app on any smartphone or device.
Participants will also be invited to set up their stands on Saturday, July 29.
