Tuscaloosa's Newest Pizza Hut Now Open On McFarland Boulevard
The opening marks a return of the pizza franchise to north of the Black Warrior River and the second location in Tuscaloosa County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Pizza Hut has returned to the northern side of the Black Warrior River on McFarland Boulevard in Tuscaloosa after a hiatus lasting almost two years.

In Northridge Center off of McFarland Boulevard, the stalwart nationwide pizza chain has officially opened its doors to customers next to Tokyo Express. The two eateries also share the outlet with Jimmy John's.

The location, which saw the build-out of the concept begin last November, will no doubt be a busy one, positioned near the city limits of Northport.
The new location is a small, express-style restaurant that features very limited seating, but also includes a drive-thru pickup window.

Pizza Hut's last traditional "sit-down" location on McFarland Boulevard in Northport closed in late 2020, leaving the longtime Pizza Hut to-go location in south Tuscaloosa and the Pizza Hut Express on the University of Alabama campus as the only other franchises in the area.

The new Pizza Hut is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
