Tuscaloosa's 'Tech Or Treat' Event Set For Oct. 24

The City of Tuscaloosa on Wednesday announced it will host its annual Tech or Treat event on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa on Wednesday announced it will host its annual Tech or Treat event on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

The free, family-friendly event will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Gateway, which is located at 2614 University Boulevard East.

Similar to a “trunk-or-treat" event, families and children will be able to go table to table collecting candy and being introduced to STEAM concepts through activities facilitated by the city's departments and community organizations.

Children attending the event must be accompanied by an adult.

The city says booth spaces are still open for organizations interested in participating.
