TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit responded to a shooting in the 3000 block of 27th Street Monday that resulted in one death and another person injured.

Captain Marty Sellers told local media two people were injured in the shooting, with one eventually succumbing to their injuries before midnight on Monday.
