CARBON HILL, AL — Investigators with the Carbon Hill Police Department and Walker County Sheriff's Office said two people are dead and one injured following a home invasion and shooting on Thursday.

The incident reportedly occurred in the area of 4th Avenue NE and Marlin Jordan Road.
