Captain Marty Sellers, co-commander of the multiagency unit, told local media that Tuscaloosa Police and VCU investigators are actively working the shooting in the 3100 block of 21st Street.

The initial call was received around 6:30 p.m., with Sellers saying a 14-year-old boy and a 45-year-old man were both shot.
He then said both individuals suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
