Beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Bryant Drive will also close from Colonial Drive to 11th Avenue, just past Rama Jama's. That closure will remain in place until after the concert concludes.

A broader wave of closures will take effect Saturday at noon, impacting several of the main corridors surrounding the stadium.

University Boulevard will be closed from Stadium Drive to Campus Drive West, near Publix Super Market at University Town Center, while all of Wallace Wade Avenue will remain shut down.

Other affected roadways include Colonial Drive from University Boulevard to Bryant Drive, 6th Avenue from University Boulevard to Bryant Drive, and Bryant Drive from 8th Avenue to Frank Thomas Avenue.

Portions of 6th Street, 8th Street and 10th Avenue near Tutwiler Hall will also be closed to traffic.

In addition to roadway restrictions, some sidewalks along the north end of the stadium on University Boulevard will be temporarily closed to accommodate pedestrian flow and enhance safety measures.

University officials are advising concertgoers and residents to follow posted detour signs, allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes when navigating the campus area.
