UA Museums To Host All-Day Holiday Tuesday

The University of Alabama Museums are set to open their doors to the public for an All-Day Holiday Tuesday.

The University of Alabama Museums are set to open their doors to the public for an All-Day Holiday Tuesday, which will feature light refreshments, activities and more.

The Alabama Museum of Natural History at Smith Hall will have its regular operating hours (10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.) and will offer nature-themed holiday arts and crafts and refreshments from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

The Gorgas House Museum is set to be decorated for the holiday season, while providing light refreshment and guided tours throughout the home from 9 a.m. until noon and 1 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum will feature visits with Father Christmas, light refreshments, a snowflake/holiday coloring activity, and electric/hybrid vehicles on display from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Admission is free to the Alabama Museum of Natural History, the Gorgas House and The Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum.

For sports fans, The Paul W. Bryant Museum will be open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., with snacks, beverages, a 15% discount in the Museum Gift Shops and surprise guests. Admission is free for members and children under 5 free, with adult tickets priced at $5 and $3 for children ages K-12.
