Severe Weather School Closures In Tuscaloosa For March 30
The University of Alabama and Shelton State will suspend operations at 4 p.m. due to the threat of severe weather later in the day.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Due to the threat of severe weather later in the day on Tuesday, the University of Alabama has announced it will suspend campus operations at 4 p.m. Wednesday through 5 a.m. Thursday morning.

UA also says all evening classes will be canceled.

Shelton State Community College has also announced it will cease operations at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
Tuscaloosa City Schools and the Tuscaloosa County School System also announced Wednesday morning that they will both cancel all after-school activities for the day, but there will be no change in operations for the normal school day.
