UA Women's Basketball Promotes Roman Tubner To Associate Head Coach
The University of Alabama women's basketball team on Thursday announced that assistant coach Roman Tubner promoted to associate head coach.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The University of Alabama women's basketball team on Thursday announced that assistant coach Roman Tubner promoted to associate head coach and recruiting coordinator.

The past season was Tubner's second with the Crimson Tide, during which time the program posted back-to-back 20-win seasons. The program also reached the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three years this past season.

On the recruiting site, Tubner has helped land a five-star recruit, two four-star recruits and three transfer student-athletes, with the incoming class ranked No. 12 nationally by ESPNW's early signing period
Prior to his time in Tuscaloosa, Tubner served in assistant coaching roles at Ball State (2020-21), UNC-Wilmington (2019-20), Indiana State (2018-19), Austin Peay State (2017-18) and Arkansas Tech (2014-17)

Tubner is a 2011 graduate of Centenary College, where he was a two-year starter and team captain
