TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting early Wednesday morning at a Tuscaloosa bar that left one man injured.

Captain Marty Sellers, co-commander of the unit, told local media that officers with the Tuscaloosa Police Department responded to a shooting call at Spades Restaurant & Lounge at 1735 Culver Road at approximately 1:20 a.m.

A male victim was found to be shot and was in critical condition.

No arrests, suspects or persons of interest have been announced at this time.

Sellers said the man was treated for his injuries and is now in stable condition.
