TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting early Thursday morning at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex that injured one person.

The shooting occurred at Bonita Terrace Apartments in the 1300 block of Hargrove Road, with Tuscaloosa Police Department officers responding at approximately 2:30 a.m.

Captain Marty Sellers, co-commander of the unit, told local media Thursday afternoon that the shooting victim was in stable condition and investigators had made contact with witnesses and a possible suspect.
The suspect has not been publicly identified and formal charges have not been announced.
