Victims Identified After Crash Kills Two Near Brookwood Sunday

Troopers have identified two people killed in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 59 near Brookwood.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has identified two people killed in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 59, roughly two miles from Brookwood.

ALEA says the crash occurred at approximately 3:40 a.m. when a 2010 Toyota Tacoma pickup driven by 25-year-old Chance K. Mizzell, of Woodstock, collided head-on with a 2018 Mazda3 driven by 24-year-old Cameron A. Parks, of Madison.

They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
