Walker County Man Charged With 19 Counts Of Child Porn Possession

ARGO, AL — A Walker County man is behind bars and charged with 19 counts of possession of child pornography following a search warrant on Thursday near the Argo community.

The Walker County Sheriff's Office said Danny Wayne Thompson, 50, was taken into custody after investigators obtained an arrest warrant as a follow-up on a suspect who reportedly had child pornography in his possession.

Thompson was arrested during the search of his residence before being transported to the Walker County Jail, where his cash bond was set at $250,000.

WCSO says additional charges against Thompson are pending.
