WATCH: Alabama Baseball Introduces New Head Coach Rob Vaughn
New Alabama baseball coach Rob Vaughn was officially introduced during a press conference on Tuesday.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — University of Alabama Athletic Director Greg Byrne officially introduced new Crimson Tide head baseball coach Rob Vaughn on Tuesday, marking the new coach's first press conference in Tuscaloosa.

As Patch previously reported, Vaughn — previously the head coach at Maryland — was announced as the program's next head coach Monday, while it was also revealed that interim head coach Jason Jackson would be retained as associate head coach and pitching coach.

The Terps finished atop the conference standings in both 2022 and 2023 under Vaughn, who was part of the staff for the three winningest seasons in Maryland history, including the only 40-win seasons for the Terps in 2014, 2015, 2022 and 2023.
