WATCH: Coaling Honors Brothers Killed Aboard USS Arizona At Pearl Harbor

Watch the full ceremony that saw the Town of Coaling honor two brothers from the area who were killed aboard the USS Arizona in 1941.

COALING, AL — The Town of Coaling and leaders from around Tuscaloosa gathered Friday to honor two brothers from the town who were killed aboard the USS Arizona during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.

Daniel P. Jones and Woodrow Wilson Jones were both sailors aboard the legendary ship.

Their bodies, along with many of their fellow servicemen, have never been recovered from the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.

A stone monument was erected at Coaling Town Hall to commemorate the service and lives of the two brothers, along with all of the others who have given their lives in service of their country.
