TUSCALOOSA, AL — The No. 8 Crimson Tide won an offensive shootout with a high-powered LSU team Saturday night viewed by many as the best offense in the country.

The win saw Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe log four touchdowns on the ground and avoid turnovers, while the defense stepped up late in the game to seal the deal and keep the Crimson Tide undefeated in Southeastern Conference play.

Saturday's game was the 88th meeting between the two teams, with Alabama extending its leading in the rivalry series to 56–27–5.

The Crimson Tide will be on the road next week as Alabama travels to Lexington to take on the Kentucky Wildcats. Kickoff for that game is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11.
