TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama football coach Nick Saban had some choice words when asked about the quality of the Crimson Tide's opponents and its impact on player development during the early goings of the season.

This comes following the Tide's narrow 20-19 win over an unranked Texas team that saw Alabama commit more penalties in one game than any other individual contest during the Saban Era. The question on Wednesday also comes before Alabama takes on Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
