Weather Prompts Stillman To Reschedule MLB Play Ball Youth Event
The event has been rescheduled to March 19, due to freezing temperatures in the forecast for this Saturday

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Stillman College has announced that its MLB Play Ball Youth Event scheduled for this Saturday has been postponed until Saturday, March 19 at 10:30 a.m., due to freezing temperatures and gusting winds in Saturday's forecast.

The free baseball and softball event— geared toward ages 5-12 — will now take place before Stillman's baseball game against Brewton-Parker College and its softball's games against Mobile, which are scheduled for new noon on the make-up date.

Prior baseball or softball experience is not required, nor is having the necessary equipment. Participants are simply asked to wear comfortable, athletic clothing and shoes. Participants will also receive a Play Ball T-shirt, wristband and bat and ball to take home.
Registration will begin on site at 9:45 a.m. the day of the event, while pre-registration is currently available online by clicking here.
