West Alabama Lawmakers Endorse Katie Britt For U.S. Senate
Four west Alabama policymakers have formally endorsed Republican U.S. Senate candidate Katie Britt in her run for office.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Four west Alabama policymakers have formally endorsed Republican U.S. Senate candidate Katie Britt in her run for office.

According to an official announcement released on Thursday, Britt touted the endorsements from 58 Alabama Republican legislators in the downhill run to the May 24 GOP Primary.

Britt is set to face off against Republican Congressman Mo Brooks and conservative newcomer Mike Durant. Primary runoffs will be held on June 21 if necessary.
“It’s humbling that so many Republican legislators from every corner of our great state have the confidence in our grassroots campaign and the enthusiasm for our conservative message to put their names next to mine as we sprint towards the finish line of this important election,” Britt said.

Britt received endorsements from the following state representatives from the Tuscaloosa Patch coverage area:
- Rep. Kyle South, R-Fayette.
- Rep. Tracy Estes, R-Winfield.
- Rep. Rodney Sullivan, R-Northport.
- Rep. Cynthia Almond, R-Tuscaloosa.
