Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama COO and West AlabamaWorks Executive Director Donnie Jones said there will be plenty of real opportunities for high school students considering different career paths or entry level jobs that could turn into something bigger.
"So we want to do everything we can to get the word out and let parents and students know that these great jobs are available and they can start as soon as they graduate high school," Jones said. "These companies will onboard them and bring them on the job. And they're starting from anywhere from 15 to 20 $22 an hour.”
