TUSCALOOSA, AL — Monday at 5 p.m. marked the filing deadlines for candidates participating in party primaries in legislative races to file campaign finance reports with the Alabama Secretary of State's Office.

Party primary elections in Alabama are set for May 24, with the general election scheduled for Nov.8.
