Wilder-Fury III Rescheduled For Oct. 9 In Las Vegas: Report
ESPN reports the third installment of the rivalry between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury has now been rescheduled to October.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Boxing fans will have to wait until October to see the highly-anticipated third installment of the boxing rivalry between Tuscaloosa native and former heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder, and current champion Tyson Fury.
ESPN's Mike Coppinger was the first to report that the fight has now been rescheduled for Oct. 9 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The fight, originally set for July 24, was postponed after Fury and several people in his camp tested positive for the coronavirus earlier this month, as Patch previously reported.

Coppinger also reported that Fury was tested on July 5 and notified the next day of his positive test result, making the fight on July 24 unlikely due to quarantine protocols.
Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) and Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) first fought in December 2018, which ended in a controversial draw, while the February 2020 rematch saw the English boxer defeat Wilder in convincing fashion, knocking down him down twice and prompting his cornerman to throw in the towel in the seventh round.
