Woman Killed Monday In Pickens County Crash
A Clarke County woman was killed Monday afternoon after her vehicle left the roadway and overturned in Pickens County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Clarke County woman was killed Monday afternoon after her vehicle left the roadway and overturned in Pickens County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says the single-vehicle crash happened at approximately 1:10 p.m. Monday, July 27, on Crossroads Church Road near Crawford Road, about five miles northeast of Gordo.

ALEA said 40-year-old Patricia K. Hudson, of Coffeeville, was driving a 2015 Hyundai Veloster when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Hudson was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by ALEA's Highway Patrol Division.
