Woman Shot Friday Morning On Greensboro Avenue

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Tuscaloosa woman is recovering from a gunshot wound after a shooting Friday morning in the 3900 block of Greensboro Avenue.

Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Captain Marty Sellers told local media that the Tuscaloosa Police Department responded to the initial call and found that a car had been shot into.

He then said a 49-year-old woman was hit in the foot and was treated for the injury,

A suspect has been identified, Sellers said, but has not been taken into custody.
