Woman Wounded In Cordell Street Shooting; Suspect At Large
A woman was injured in a shooting Thursday evening in west Tuscaloosa
TUSCALOOSA, AL — A woman was injured in a shooting Thursday evening in west Tuscaloosa.
Captain Marty Sellers of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes unit said officers with the Tuscaloosa Police Department responded around 7:45 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the 3200 block of Cordell Street.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult female Tuscaloosa resident who had been shot multiple times.

Police said the victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Investigators with the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.

Sellers said an unidentified male suspect fired several shots at the victim before fleeing in an unknown direction.
No arrests have been announced and the investigation remains ongoing.
