Woodstock Man Killed In Crash Near West Blocton Friday
Richard R. Bandy, 52, pronounced dead at the scene after the 1993 Mazda B2600 he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Woodstock man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday morning on Bibb County Road 24, roughly three miles east of West Blocton.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says Richard R. Bandy, 52, pronounced dead at the scene after the 1993 Mazda B2600 he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. The crash occurred at approximately 5 a.m.

ALEA said Bandy was not using a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
