YMCA Men's Club Raises $18K Through Christmas Tree Sale
The YMCA Men's Club on Thursday announced its annual Christmas Tree Sale generated $18,000 for the YMCA.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The YMCA Men's Club on Thursday announced its annual Christmas Tree Sale generated $18,000 for the YMCA.

The nonprofit says the funds will be direct toward three different areas of need, including $10,000 to build a 1,000-square-foot outdoor exercise area adjacent to the downtown YMCA. This will also include new fencing and storage space.

Along with the new exercise area, $6,000 will be used to fund 60 summer camp scholarships.
Lastly, $2,000 will be used to purchase new baseball equipment and uniforms for children in need.

As Patch has previously reported, the Y Men's Club Christmas Tree Sale is held at Bowlero, with the proceeds dedicated to services like youth sports, senior fitness programs, and day camp scholarships.
