• Military jet pilots eject safely in Alabama crash (tuscaloosanews.com) — Military pilots ejected from a T-38 training jet over rural Lamar County near Vernon on May 12, and both parachuted to safety. The aircraft from Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi has not yet been located, and Air Force investigators are now working to determine what caused the mishap.
