Bank Robbery At Summit Wells Fargo: FBI Investigating
A suspect in the robbery of the Wells Fargo branch on Summit Boulevard may have robbed other area banks as well.

BIRMINGHAM, AL β A robbery over the weekend of the Wells Fargo bank branch at The Summit shopping center may be connected to other area robberies. The FBI is investigating the robbery, which took place just after 1 p.m. Saturday, and think the suspect may have robbed other banks in the area as well.
According to a report by WBRC, a white male approximately 6 feet tall and 200 pounds and between the ages of 40 and 50 years old handed a note to a teller at the Wells Fargo on Summit Boulevard demanding money. The robber took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.
The same man is also accused of robbing the Wells Fargo Bank on West Valley Avenue in Homewood that same morning.

He is also accused of robbing a bank in Marietta, Georgia, Monday.
