Cahaba Heights Elementary Teachers Among Best In Alabama

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - A recent listing by renown education ranking system Niche.com ranked the schools in the country with the best teachers. In its statewide ranking, Cahaba Heights Community School ranked in the top 25 in Alabama. Cahaba Heights was the only school in the Vestavia Hills school district that made the top 25.

The 2019 Best Teachers in Alabama ranking is based on rigorous analysis of academic and teacher data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews from students and parents. Niche used student and parent ratings of teachers, teacher salaries, teacher absenteeism, teacher tenure, student-teacher ratio, and the Niche Academics Grade for the school.

Mountain Brook Junior High School topped the list, and was the only school in the state that made the national top 200 list for best teachers. Brookwood Forest Elementary School took the second spot, and ranked 593rd nationally.
