Chromebook Pickup Schedule Released For Vestavia Schools

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — As the new school year approaches, Chromebooks for students will be available for pickup beginning Friday. The school system released the pickup schedule this week.

All Remote Learning Model students (grades K-12) will pick up Chromebooks on Friday, August 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the students' base school. The pickup process will be drive-thru only.

Secondary students on the Traditional Learning Model (grades 6-12) will pick up Chromebooks next week at the child’s base school on the following schedule:

• Red Day students (last names beginning in letters A-K) will pick up on Monday, August 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Blue Day students (last names beginning in letters L-Z) will pick up on Tuesday, August 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pickup for secondary students will also be a drive-thru-only process.

Elementary students on the Traditional Learning Model (grades K-5) will receive Chromebooks in their classrooms on the first day of school. There is no need for Elementary Traditional Model students to come to any of these pickup times.

Those who are unable to pick up Chromebooks at these scheduled times are asked to contact the child’s base school to make arrangements for pickup.
