'Community Night Out' Festival Coming To Vestavia Hills Thursday

The annual event is sponsored by the police and fire departments and will feature loads of food and fun.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — Vestavia Hills is preparing to ring in the fall with the Fall Festival Community Night Out, a fall festival that will take place Thursday in front of Vestavia Hills City Hall.

Sponsored by the Vestavia Hills Police and Fire departments, the free event is advertised as a “an opportunity for first responders to network with local businesses, civic groups, churches, schools, and community volunteers in a symbolic stance to promote public safety.”

But it’s also a carnival, featuring free food, a DJ, a pumpkin patch, jump houses, kids activities, local vendors, and the chance to show off this year’s Halloween costume.
