House Fire In Vestavia Leaves One Person Injured

The VHFD and MBFD battled a large house fire early Tuesday morning, and were able to save the three people inside.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — The Vestavia Hills Fire Department, with help from the Mountain Brook Fire Department, battled a house fire in Cahaba Heights Tuesday morning. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Canterbury Place.

Reportedly, three people were inside the home when firefighters arrived. All three were able to get out of the house safely, although one of the inhabitants of the home sustained minor injuries.

Fire crews were on the scene for most of the day Tuesday.
